Everything is closed when the morning is still young. Except for the 24 hour bodegas, all the gates are down and locked. Here on first street, this hair salon not only takes advantage of some free advertising space but brightens up the street. Clever lettering on 'styles' and a fun yet explanatory comb & scissors. Pedestrians are reminded to come back when they’re open at the same time, the sidewalk is not as stark and lonely during the off-business hours. Sometimes the clever is noteworthy for just being clever. Nothing else required.
