Faded Past

Faded Past implies the past is still with us. The past lingers if only in the shadows, and on the edges. Faded Letters on one of the old warehouse buildings in what has now been named the Power House District, the industrial, job-creating world existing in left behind sturdy structures... and memories. Bay Street Storage – painted letters shadows of their former script. The building has been repurposed – was probably something other than a storage facility before it was a storage facility – will soon be something else, probably condos, what else? Exterior refinished and repainted, the past further faded… now a memory of a memory of some else’s memory… then a memory of that… have a feeling the exterior will be refinished before the final fading away of Bay Street Storage.
