Shared Court

Kind have to look at this picture close to get what is going on. On your left, see the younger kids with the basketball? Then in the background, the adult men are scrambling around the basket at the other end of the court? This happens all the time at the Hamilton Park basketball court. A full court game is being played, but when the players follow the ball to the opposite basket, the young boys play their own basketball game for a few seconds until the other team gets the ball and the game trots back to the other basket. The kids scamper out of the way to wait for their time to play again. It’s all about the timing—as well as consideration and an utter lack of arrogance on the part of everybody involved.
