Post-Mail Box

The hiatus is over at least for now. Dislocations is dislocating again. Things will be a little different though, least for a while. It is always thus, with a while, with time. We can’t isolate our relationships lovers or family members or friends from time; yet if time defines those relationships, the relationship diminishes. Resisting the lure of nostalgia takes willpower, but ultimately nostalgia erodes the very happiness where nostalgia originated. This mailbox used to be an address. This mailbox used to hold bills, cards, supermarket circulars and summer camp letters.  Everyone is gone who remembers to whom that mail was addressed. Everyone who ever sent mail here is now dead.
