Third & Monmouth Bejeweled
Hey is your pole bejeweled or are you just glad to reach the corner of Third and Monmouth? I just noticed who knows how long these little mirrors have been glued here. Random Street Art can also beautify the most overlooked details of our fair city. Yes, somebody glued these nifty tiny mirrors (and semi-precious glass stones) on top of this pole for the simple reason they capture and reflect the light in a place that heretofore never captured light. It might have been an agent from the mirror dimension who actually created an inter-dimensional portal so our realm can eventually be robbed of our resources, but since our resources are pretty much gone I am guessing clever street art. It’s a clever block.
Jersey City is an isthmus. I live there. Just a guy trying to get by. This blog features stuff I feel like writing about. Hope you enjoy and come back for more.
